Well the prints finished just before midnight. Enough time to do a quick dry fit and see how well it all goes together (very well as it happens, despite using 2 different printers!) Before packing up to go home (half an hour in a thunderstorm)
The holes are done and parts smoothed and fitted into the tin.
I'll take pics tomorrow

I love them. Cura printed all items just fine at "standard" without issue. The hinge pieces need some fettling to make them fit together but fine apart from that

Here's how the prints came out, just with what happened to be loaded up in them which was red abs and silver abs so I went for silver base and hinge and red faces.

I may smooth out the faces with fill and paint yet though as I can see some potential light bleed around the bezel.
Also the screws are temporary until my countersunk ones arrive

I'll get some pics of the only other thing I got done last night... the holes. (allow LOTS of time to get the holes right is all I'm saying...)

Looks, good, I'm looking into getting my first 3D Printer, do you recommend the one you are using? if so where can I get one, thanks.

They are not the cheapest (in fact they are pretty pricy!) but are very easy to use and produce very good prints (for as far as FDM goes...) with very good support (and open source designs too! so when they design upgrades, you just download the design and print it yourself or flash the firmware)
but anyway, they are: the one printing the red is a mini:
https://www.lulzbot.com/store/printers/lulzbot-mini
and the silver is a Taz 6:
https://www.lulzbot.com/store/printers/lulzbot-taz-6
but I must say they are not mine! but my hackerspace's (I suggest if you want to learn about 3D printing without full on diving head first then joining a local 'space is very worth it - mine is in Southampton UK SoMakeIt and they are awesome)
edit: well Howabou' dah... 3Dhubs has reviews:

I print my parts on 3Dhubs and found myself a good buddy in my neighbourhood (Vienna, AT). Very efficient, super professional and cheap. I can only recommend this site.
