Got the replacement screen today. The ribbon connector was too small... Does anyone have a link for any that are perfect maybe please?

Show us a picture of the connector.

Here you are, I didn’t cut it, it just slides in the connector.

I completely forgot about the tape! I've just put a layer on and I'm still getting a plain white screen.

I also forgot, I wired up the battery last month and the light on it's charging board comes up blue when it's fully charged! I'll give it a full charge and see if it works with battery power. When I put the battery in I applied the safe shutdown PCB, which came in 3 days from the US to the UK (Many Thanks To Helder For The Board).

Just be sure to double check all the fingers are making proper contact before you close the latch. May need to shift it left or right. Hopefully it works.

I've re-aligned the ribbon and I'm still getting a plain white screen. I went out into town and tried to get a micro-HDMI cable to test, but since it was 3:50 everywhere was shutting...

Remove the socket on the lcd board and solder the part on there directly.

This is going to sound REALLY dumb, but is there a really easy way to solder the screen to the board please?
