DieselDummy's MintyPi v3 - #1

I must say, this build was a little more challenging than I expected. All in all, it was a fun learning experience and a nice little bit of soldering practice.
It's a standard kit, so there's not much here out of the ordinary but i would like to share a few custom elements that make it unique.
The first and most obvious change is the tin itself. It's a standard Altoids tin with a paint job. The tin was sprayed with a flat black enamel, then dry-brushed with copper paint. I sanded the edges and logo to add a little contrast and the whole thing was sealed up with multiple coats of clear enamel.
One small addition I made was to the charging indicator LED. The hole was drilled out just big enough to fit a small piece of clear PETG filament. The filament was then carefully heated on either side of the tin. The result being a "bulb" with the light visible at all angles.
The final custom pieces are no more custom than choosing crayons for a coloring book, but the added contrast to the outside of the tin made it feel a bit more unique. Wermy did the real work on the STL files and was kind enough to share them with us, so a huge thanks to him. The fist layers were printed in a clear royal blue PLA, the rest of the print was a marble PLA which really lightened up the blue and added a little texture. Also, the black speaker stuck out like a turd in a punch bowl.... so I lightly sprayed that with a flat white to match.
Hopefully everyone that got a kit will enjoy the build as much as I did. ....And thank you to Wermy and Helder for their work, also LTM and anyone else for helping with troubleshooting.
