Hello,

Hi, I'm Ken

I'm Brand New here,

I found Sudomod on YouTube and fell in love with the idea of the mintyPi. I've never dealt with anything raspberry pi before, but with how well everything was made and developed, it was not a difficult project. Thanks so much to Wermy and Helder for their awesome work! I've been inspired to start a YouTube channel not too long ago because of people like this. Had a blast with this build!

Very nice and clean build! What iron tip are you using in your video?

Thank you!

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure but I think for the pins I used the smallest tip I had which was actually damaged and bent. For the l and r board and speaker I used a much bigger one. I really need to get a proper soldering iron as this ones temperature does not regulate well at all. It was the flux that did all the work. Would like to get a proper hakko Solder/reflow station eventually.

A lot of us (including myself) use a 898d+ soldering and rework station. You can pick one up for around $45. Not as nice as a Hakko but it get's the job done if you don't use it every day. Just something to look in to!
