mintyPi Case

Post by Lphillimore » Tue Aug 22, 2017 12:23 am

Hey Guys

Been looking for something to carry the mintyPi in for a while now and took a few punts on eBay.

These came today and are perfect! They even fit a charge cable.

Pretty much a miniature version of the 3DS XL shell cases i use.

I just ordered the Pelican MicroCase 1010 IP67 rated hard case: http://www.pelican.com/us/en/product/wa ... dard/1010/

The mintyPi should fit perfectly with a little foam in the case. I'll post back after it comes in on Tuesday.

Would love a link to the Pelican cases!

Here you go! I used a little bit of egg crate foam to fill in the lid of the case.

Those leather cases seem sweet. Post back if you manage to get your hands on one.

After checking the dimensions of the tin against about 50 small electronics cases on Amazon, I pulled the trigger on the closest one I could find, and it turned out perfect.

Similar to the one Lphillimore posted, but without all the Aussie "won't ship to US" nonsense :D .
