Could be wrong, but that looks tapered to me.
Ah, didn't realize the case was tapered. Yes, if the hole is tapered you want a countersunk screw. When you're mounting a flat surface, like the Pi to Helder's board from some of the photos I saw, you'll want a counterbore screw.

I hear that if you buy a $30 pack of screws from wermy, he will throw in a set of 3D printed parts for free! (sarcasm )

Edit: I don't want to provide bad advice but it looks like wermy's long screws are counterbore. I'll let the pros weigh in at this point.

yeah, in that pic, wermy is showing counterbore screws, which is strange because in the prints are countersunk holes. i guess that countersunk screws will fit better.

I think i'll give these a go:
Hexagon Socket
or
Philips type

Honestly, the screws are so small and the 3D part is soft enough that either screw will bite enough into the part that it should sit flush. I don't think it will make much of a difference so I really don't think we will have a screwgate issue here. ;)

Screws are all flat head counterbore Philips. Sizes include m2x3mm , m2x4mm , m2x7mm or m2x8mm.

3 sizes needed.

The holes are tapered, yes, but that's really just to make it printable cleanly without supports. I am using counterbore Philips screws, like you'd find in a laptop.

Is there a timeline on the stl files yet? Or still "the future"?

Curious. Not bitchin'.

My pcb kit is right around the corner. Just wondering how long it'll collect dust.

I'll release them along with the guide. There are some things I want to point out and tips/tricks to get it to print nicely that I want to go over.

Thank you wermy. I was quite content to fankencase mine until you were prepared to release them, but this means as soon as my board arrives, I can get started!

Gonna drop you a thank you by way of your donate button. It'd be nice if everyone who is planning on downloading the files did the same!
