Is there a way to stop ES or games from seeing button input when the new function button is pressed. I keep adding random games to favorites with fnc+x when shutting down.

That is something I looked into but unfortunately stopping or halting the retrogame service caused the GPIO inputs to be "reinitialized" causing conflict with the combo script, so in essence killing the combo buttons since it also watches the GPIO's.

I thought the adding of games to favorites was done using the 'Y' button which shouldn't interfere with the quick safe shutdown.

For now, you could remap the combo to another button if that's something that would help with your issue. Hope this helps.
