Is it still possible to use the 2.2 tft screen for mintypi?

yeah, you can use a 2.2" wermy still has 3d files to download for the 2.2" version. As for wiring it will be a little different, if you get a screen that has an attached red board you'll need to trim it a bit and remove the SD card holder, and the header pins and solder wires to the button PCB. If you buy a bare screen with only the ribbon you'll need to use one of moosepr's ili plates (get one from OSH park for cheap), and solder the screen to that, and then wire it to the PCB.

You'll also have a hard time finding a button PCB, but if you have already you'll be good to go. In the end a 2.4" is a better choice, so unless you already have a 2.2" i'd get a 2.4"
