When buying parts, do I need to buy both the 30AWG and the 26AWG cords, or just one?

When buying parts, do I need to buy both the 30AWG and the 26AWG cords, or just one?

I was looking at the list of things to buy and I noticed that he said "I use 30AWG wire for things like the sound card, L/R buttons, etc. and 26AWG wire for power/ground." And I wondered if I needed the latter for the MintyPi or not. All help is appreciated.

It's recommended that you use 26awg for power and 30awg for everything else.
