To get ready to build a mintypi, I made this altoids tin speaker to get comforatable with electronics and filing the tin.

Here is the PARTS list:

Two 3 W speakers
Usb charging module
5v dc to dc converter
Bluetooth module
1000 mah lipo battery
Switch


TOOLS:

Soldering iron
Solder
Wire
Wire strippers
Metal file
Drill
But preferably:
A dremmel (I don’t have one)

Also, I feel like making a build guide (video form) since it was so easy, and it will help the community prepare for the soon to come mintypi v3.

Here are some pictures:
Before you go make this, you should know that the speakers aren’t very loud. My phone is louder by far, but it’s cool have and it’s fun to freak people out with it.

I’ll make a build guide (video) of a cleaner one with better speakers if you guys are interested.

Not perfect

You have to (barely) keep the tin cracked to keep a steady signal.

But I bet I could fix that if I drilled a nice hole next to the module
Edit: I did that and it works perfectly when closed!
