MintyPi as a MP3 Player?

Hallo guys here from Germany,

so far I mainly used my Raspberry Pi Zero W as a headless audio player with the free software Volumio.
The software Volumio is
"One DAP (Digital Audio Player) for all your music: MP3, FLAC, WAV, AAC, ALAC, DSD and much more.
Plus, you’ll get UPNP\DLNA, Airplay, Spotify and Web-Radios all in one place"
-as stated on their website https://volumio.org/.

The software works very well and looks really neat in my opinion. Here are some pictures from the web:

I saw that there are not only plug-ins for Spotify and YouTube playback (which work well), but also for Touchscreens
and GPIO buttons.

Plug-in list: https://volumio.org/forum/volumio-plugi ... tml#p30812

That's why I had the idea to use the MintyPi as a MP3 player running Volumio or some other software and controlling it with the buttons.
For example you could use the shoulder buttons for playing the next song or changing the volume.

Unfortunately I don't have a Minty Pi yet, because I just ordered all the parts for Minty Pi v3.
So if someone here has a Minty Pi with an audio jack, could he or she maybe try this out?
I think it would be kind of cool to listen to your favorite music on the go from an Altoids tin and seeing album cover, artist...

It's just an idea, but maybe someone likes to try this out...

Hello HenPi,

Look at this! (especially the bold part) 8-)
Ever had trouble installing an ISO disk image file to your Raspberry Pi’s SD card? Want more than one OS (perhaps a retro gaming system and a media center)? The answer is a tool that helps to manage the installation of one or more OSes for your Pi.

That’s basically what BerryBoot does. Presenting you with a selection of operating systems to choose from, BerryBoot downloads the OSes and installs them, with minimal interaction from you.

So you actually CAN put two OSes on your mintyPi. :D And because you can also attach a keyboard on your mintyPi, the configuration will also be easier! So to my opinion, yes, it's definitely possible! ;)

Sounds nice but I am more a fan of KODI.
