Max micro sd card size?

For the Minty Pi Version 3 I was wondering what the max size could be for the minty pi and also what a good speed would be (Would a SanDisk extreme work okay or be overkill?)

The maximum size can be 256 GB I guess. Correct me if I am wrong.

Honestly, a 16 GB will suffice just fine. I have just about every game that can be played on the MintyPi and it all fits on a 16 GB card with room to spare.
