help troubleshooting my wiring setup

I'm getting ~3.4v from the battery. The pads for + and - from the JST connector were torn off.

The battery is meant to be connected to the JST connector and I'm not sure if you can charge from any of those other spots on the charger board. I would suggest replacing it with a micro lipo or the alternative charger that Wermy said would be compatible in his latest update video.

You can charge the battery from the breakout pins on the powerboost. I did the same in my build, one of the JST pins pulled up. I used a ground pin and then the BAT pin to connect the battery. (looks like you have it wired to the USB pin). I'd switch the wire and see what happens.

I also see that I have responded to your post about this from August 24th. It looks like I originally said USB pin, and then changed it to BAT. Maybe you missed when I edited the post, Sorry!

Also, from this post above your positive pad from the JST connector seems to be intact. You could try to connect the red wire there, and have it grounded on the breakout strip.

Perfect! Glad it's working. I was hoping you would notice when I edited the post. Not long after I posted I realized I gave the wrong information!
