I've been using the mintyPiv3_20190721 image. Was happening after the initial install. Update through the software didn't change it. (I don't think there's a newer version anyway).

This is starting to get confusing because I had started suffering from the same problem, but then eventually it resolved itself. Could someone explain to me how that could have happened.

Re: MintyPi won't turn off??
No idea as it's never happened to me in any builds or test units I've tried it on. I have been including an extra power pcb if this arises that usually fixes this issue.

Re: MintyPi won't turn off??
I'm having the same issue that everyone else has described here. Everything except holding the power button just causes the system to restart and not shutdown. I've tried updating the mintyPi image but unfortunately, that didn't change anything. If someone's found a fix for this I'd love to hear it because I love the project and have been having a blast using it but it's a bit of a shame the shutdown doesn't work properly.

Some bad chips have been mixed in this batch and this is the last batch of these chips to be used in anything else I will make going forward since they are not being made anymore.NickW1102 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 09, 2020 3:30 amI'm having the same issue that everyone else has described here. Send me an email and I can send you a new chip and I made a video showing how it's easy to swap and it will fix your issue.
