Minty Pi v3 Inverted Colors and Button Delay

Hello, I recently started putting together my minty pi v3 kit and I got to where I could test the functionality of the screen but when turned on the screen its colors were inverted. Even if annoying if this was the only problem it would still be playable but the buttons have a 20-30 second delay and sometimes don't even work at all. I have tried reflashing my sd card multiple times and there is continuity between each pin without bridging. Does anyone know a fix for this?
