Hey Guys, I have searched the forums for a solution to the white screen problem and tried to troubleshoot the problem on my own with no success. I checked to make sure the GPIO pins were consistent, I have the masking tape on the screen connector, the pins are properly aligned, and I have rewritten the retro-pie image multiple times. Any help would be appreciated.

How did you check the gpio?

I checked with a multimeter using the test pads on the pcb. First with setting that confirms continuity with sound then the voltage setting. What would you recommend?

Can you get a closer picture of the gpio pins?

DC looks like it doesn't have enough solder. Did you see my last post on the previous page? Check the 4 gpio that I mentioned. My screen was exactly like that until I made sure to press the soldering iron deep into each opening and apply a *very* little bit more solder to each.

Edit: also, you have no solder on the A button gpio.

This seems like a continuity problem, are you checking the corresponding GPIO to the test pad under the 8pin socket?

I got it to work and it was a continuity issue. Thanks for the help and please forgive the simple solution. I really did think the continuity was fine before I tried it again.

Having the same issue with the white screen. I’ve checked the continuity multiple times with different multimeters and shows good continuity. Any other suggestions? Anything will help thank you.
