MintyPi not powering from battery

Works great when plugged in! Getting a solid 3.8 volts from the battery, tested at multiple spots, including the controller PCB "POWER INPUT" VCC and GROUND. Switch shuts power ON and OFF as it should. I've quadruple checked the connections from the Pi to the controller PCB. I am stuck. Any suggestions?

Check the 5v GPIO is getting power from the battery, sounds like bad continuity from the board to the Pi. Alternatively solder a wire from VCC (Not under the 8pin connector!) to the GPIO 5v whinch has the silkscreen 5V.

I had this issue on one build. Could not make the connection no matter what i tried. Run a cheeky wire, job done 😎

Thanks Helder, My dad and I had this exact same problem and you were right! The PCB board wasn't receiving enough power, so all we did was re-solder a previously bad connection and now it works! :D
