Latest MintyPi image?

I am working on my first MintyPi build with the safe shutdown board, and I noticed there are a couple different retropie images floating around and I want to know which one is the latest.

1. On the recent Battery Monitor Install Guide blog post, there's a link to a v2 image, posted August 19th according to mediafire.
2. On the wiki page there is a link to a v3 image, posted August 22nd, which I just happened to notice while looking at that page.

v3 obviously seems like the latest version, I just didn't see any posts about the image getting updated. If this v3 is indeed the latest, what is new on this version? And should the wiki always be considered the source of truth in situations like this?

V3 is the latest. I noticed on the new image thatt when the mintyPi splash screen plays there's now a sound. Also, the battery monitor script is already preinstalled.

Thanks for pointing this out - I updated the battery monitor install guide. Been trying to switch to just linking to the wiki so there's only one spot to update.
