Screen Question!

Hello! I'm trying fairly hard to get into this hobby and I wanted to give building a minty pi a go as a first project. As most of you on the forums probably know, Helder's combo is sold out. I noticed that wermy sells just the button which is really what I was looking for. I don't think I'd be able to figure it out with just the copper tape. So this leads me to a few questions for you guys!
What screen is best used with the PCB?
Is it possible to get the same screen used in the combo?
Any added steps or difficulty to connecting the screen to the board due to it not being the combo?
I know it's a lot to ask, thanks in advance for anyone that responds. I hope I manage to join you guys and the modding community!

Helder is opening up a pre-sale for his new mintyPi PCB and LCD combo on September 22nd. If you still want answers for your questions knowing that the combo is about to go up for sale, post back.

I actually just saw that they are coming back but I had already posted it to be approved haha. I probably will wait and order a combo. I would still those answers however, I think it's some good general information to have as I may try to do some custom stuff in the future.

You'll need a bare 2.4in ILI9341 SPI screen.
There are several threads with a plethora of information scattered through these sub forums. There's a huge FAQ where I think people linked these screens. Feel free to continue to ask questions as they arise.

Just to clarify, what wermy is selling is *JUST* the plastic Dpad and ABXY buttons. He's not selling any of the electrical components needed to actually make your MintyPi work. You still *
need* Helder's combo to provide the actual, functional internals of the device (or else you need to make them yourself - either design your own PCB, or make one using copper tape)
So, while you need buttons and wermy is a great place to get them, they are
not a substitute for Helder's components.

Yes Wermy is selling plain pcbs for people who want to do the 2.2inch screen builds or for those who ruined their controller pcbs.

Thanks for all the help, I hope I manage to get one or two of the combos next Friday. I'm not really sure how quick they typically sell out but I plan on being quick about it. Will they just be up on the market page? Or should I look for them on the forums?

Helder will have a buy/sell thread, but you can link to it from the market too.
