Sadly that meter doesn't have continuity checks on it.

That's a diode check as far as I'm aware. The continuity check looks like a WiFi symbol on a phone.

It does the same thing and all meters have that symbol but because you're unaware of it let me educate you so you're aware of it. Look at this meter and you will see the same icon and the sound wave you say looks like a wifi meter (it's really a sound wave for the beep it makes).

So it has the the functionality but doesn't have the dedicated symbol? That is good to know! I've always assumed if it didn't have the symbol then that meant it lacked the function. If that is the case, thanks a ton. That is legitimately useful knowledge.

I give up. I have ordered from Wermy a MintyPi Button PCB and try to solder a 8pin 1mm pitch FPC connector on it.

I dont want desolder the Pi Zero from the PCB, and so I also ordered a new Pi Zero W.
