SOLVED : Gameprogress not saving

Oi.
I assembled the Mintypi fixed the screen backlight problem and everything seemed okay.
Loaded some games. One of them was Terranigma for SNES, played it 2 days ago, saved the game normaly and now the progress is gone.

So far I only played that game and only tried it once.
I'll try another ROM today and other games today.

Any ideas for a solution?

Are you saving in game, like the save feature included in the base game? or using the save feature of retropie (Select + R to save, Select + L to load, or Select + X to bring up the menu and save/load from there?)

Some of the in game saves may not be remembered...I always use the retropie save states.

Though it's not R to save and L to load.
It's the other way round.
At least for me. And yes, i am shure, that i didn't mess up my buttons.

Ah yeah. I always have it my way written above. Either way as long as it works!
