I have everything wired. I tested everyting and it booted up fine multiple times. I just got the sound working thanks to your help. I turn it off put everything in place screw the last screws. The minty pi is looking awesome. I turn it on... Nothing! I unscrew everything and take it all out and everything is in place. I dont know if the vcc and gnd pads shorted on something when i was putting it in, or if its something different. When i try turning it on the green light on the pi dosent light up any more. I pluged it in to power to make sure the battery wasnt dead, but it shouldnt because it had full power right before I put it all back together. Thanks for all the help so far.

Give it a charge and then use your multimeter to test the voltage. Cant even tell you how many times I forget to actually turn off the power switch, which will drain your battery dead even though the pi is off.

I plugged it in for a while and tried to turn it on again but still nothing happened. Im not sure what setting on the multimeter to check the charge. On the DCV 200m setting on my multimeter it read a .5.

First of all get familiar with a multimeter since you have it in the wrong setting, how did you test continuity I'm wondering.

Move the dial up 2 settings to DCV 20 and it will show proper voltage readings.

Im at a complete loss. I tested between the + and - on the charger vcc and gnd but im not getting anything. I plugged it in for a couple of hours. I felt the battery to see if it was getting warm and i diddnt feel anything different. When i plug power directly into the rasberry pi it turns on so its the connections with the battery im having trouble with.
