Question about the sound card.

I finally figured out that the sound card had a groove scraped into from when I was removing the headphone jack, and it revealed the metal beneath, which means that my connections were shorted to ground. I added two 10 ohm resistors in anyway, and everything sounds perfectly fine now. Thanks for all of your help.
