My Raspberry Pi 0 decided to crap out on me so I gotta replace it. I realize that it is really hard to desolder the thing from the pcb. Any suggestions?

Try a hot air rework station. Which part of the pi zero you're desoldering?

GPIO pins connecting it to the pcb. I don't own a rework station nor can I afford a decent one :/

Use a desoldering vacuum sucker and a soldering iron. It's gonna be tough though but very much possible.

Ended up using a metal spudger and slipping it under the pins one by one :/ Seems to have left no damage though the pi is totally dead
