The ribbon cable for the monitor became crimped and was pinched in the altoid box. Is there anywhere we can buy just the ribbon cable instead of the cable plus the monitor? I've been looking online for a 10 pin ribbon without success.

Is it 0.5mm or 1mm pitch?

Problem has been resolved, I'm sending her a few spares. Those ribbons are way too long, I appreciate the effort but try to be a little more aware of the parameters required for the ribbon which is 40mm long so no one buys the wrong thing.
