USB audio gets set back to 0 on retropie

My usb audio card works with a normal retropie image but when I use the mintypi one it always sets audio level back to 0...

I am sure that my system works on normal retropie, so what can be the fix?

I somehow maneged to get it working by reinstalling the normal and edited retropie image....
