[SOLVED] Any ideas? mac doesn't see retropie...

Post by rankar » Fri Feb 15, 2019 6:26 am

but it's in my network map. i'm able to ping its ip successfully and still i don't see it coming up on finder (even though my other builds show up no problem).

i've done the obligatory reboots, dropped the wifi setup in retropie and re-added, cleared my network map - reboot router - re-add devices, etc.

any other ideas you guys have in mind I should try?

On Mac: install and use the ssh file transfer App Cyberduck!

During connection setup just do not forget to change to SSH (sftp) with of course the right ip adress and login/ password. And by the way: make sure ssh is already enabled on your reteopie image.

thanks man, i had trouble with that too. i finally gave up and rigged it up so I could do the ol' flash drive method. pains in the rear taking out the sd card once the minty is all sandwiched. oh well.
