Games on mintypi v3 not working

OK, so when I select a game on the mintypi it says press any button to continue I do this and it take me to a screen with a ton of different options like select an emulator and start game. I've tried using both of the different emulators installed already and neither of them work it always just take me back to the select screen. I do have a gba bios file on the mintypi.

Once you select a game, don't press any buttons until the game loads, that screen your seeing is meant for configuring emulators etc. If it takes longer than 30 seconds for the game to start you might have a badly flashed card or faulty card

It's also good to understand how emulation station works before saying something doesn't work. Research or watch some videos to know how the whole operating system is supposed to work.
