Flashing os issues

Hi. I’m having issues flashing the os. Yes I am using etcher. Yes I’ve downloaded the latest version of mintypi from the site. When I unzip the .gz file, I don’t get an .img file as wermy had in the video. So I flashed the .gz file and I didn’t get the boot on my computer. Is this supposed to not happen anymore or am I doing something wrong?

If you mean the boot drive in the file explorer, then unplug and replug the SD card in. When Etcher finishes its thing, it automatically ejects the drive so you can unplug it safely.

Ok. Got it! Thank you! The screen is staying white and not changing but that’s a different issue. Thank you!
