USB C or micro usb

I recognize theirs a micro usb or usb c. Which one is the preferred for recharging or am I missing something? And i am assuming 3a or 2a will be fine for it right?
Versions 1 and 2 use MicroUSB.
Version 3 uses USB-C.
Anything 5v (only) and >2a should be fine.
