Hello @kite
I bought circuit gem and circuit shield, which battery do you recommend for these projects?
Can you put a link?
Thanks a lot!

Edit: Fixed a mistake
The battery for the Sword should be a 125054, it’s a 4000mAH 3.7v battery. I’m not sure about the shield or gem.

Is there any difference between circuit sword and shield besides the size? I like circuit shield because of the analog feature but would prefer if circuit sword had it as well.

You can add a joystick to the Sword as well. I know you can use a PSP1000 joystick and I think you can also use a 2ds joystick but I would wait for confirmation from someone on that one.

The sword fits inside a gameboy dmg shell, the shield fits inside a gameboy pocket shell.
The joystick solders directly to the shield board. The joystick is connected by a wire on the sword, so you can place it in a different location on the shell if you like.
The sword has a few different options for the breakout board - hdmi, digital volume rocker or analog volume wheel. The shield is a digital rocker only as it’s soldered directly to the board.
The sword has a larger screen and the option of a higher res screen (640x480), the shield does not.
The sword and shield are both CM3 powered, allowing emulation up to the N64/PSX/NDS platforms. The sword is also available as a lite version, using a Pi Zero instead, which will manage SNES/GBA sort of emulation.

Could you do the lite version with a 640x480 screen?

I’ve seen a couple people mention this being the last preorder - am I missing something? I haven’t seen Kite mention that anywhere lol

I emailed Kite to ask if this run would be compatible with the CM4, he said it won't be and that he himself just got the CM4. I obviously can't speak for him so hopefully he finds time to clarify if he will be updating the board or not! No matter what, I'm glad that I can finally afford a Sword on this last run! Missed the last three(?) due to unexpected financial situations
Also, there are adapters for the CM4 to fit in the sodimm slot but I am not sure about how large it will be. The CM4 itself is very small and the adapter probably isn't too large but I haven't built one yet so I'm not sure how much clearance there actually is. They run about 30 dollars and then the pi would probably be about 50 for a 2gb model
