[FOR-SALE] Slim 4 Soft Back Button PCB, Caps and 3D Parts (OPEN)
[FOR-SALE] Slim 4 Soft Back Button PCB, Caps and 3D Parts (OPEN)
Back in Stock! Available Now!!
Hey guys I've made a new PCB for those requesting a lower profile, more discrete back button solution that uses the soft silicone contact buttons. I call it my Soft Back Button Slim PCB
Here are some photos installed.
With this setup, those that want and like the slimmer, more compact look can have it without the need of those clicky tactiles and still have L1, L2, R1, and R2 without the hassle of silicone membrane installs. The caps are molded plastic which feels nice and smooth unlike printed button caps. PCB has built in drill guides to get the alignment for the holes. I have found that a 7/32 drill bit is the perfect size for these caps. Also included is an L-Shaped washer that serves a dual purpose of holding down the PCB and also acting as a spacer for Kite's USB/HDMI daughter board if your using his PCB. What that means, no soldering needed of his spacers. L-Shaped washer will still be used if your not using his PCB.
Notice:
Buttons do not come soldered as you first have to position the PCB and use it as a drilling guide. Make sure you solder the buttons flush to the PCB as the inserts to the cap where made to that exact height.
Included with your order will be:
* Back Button PCB with Built-In Drill Guide
* 4 Soft Silicone Buttons
* Plastic Button Caps Black (Colors coming soon)
* Cap Inserts
* Left Washer and Right L-Shaped Washer
Whats not included:
* Screws
Price will be $15 plus $5 shipping. Shipping to US will include tracking number. All others will not have tracking info.

It will be up for sale indefinitely. PCB color is only in white for now, sorry about that.

Came here to say you rock. The spacer for the daughter board is fantastic.

I derped up, the backside on my build is gonna be black, so not even gonna be noticable.
I was gonna go with tacktile buttons, but this looks way better and less soldering.

Hello. Short questions: When are colored buttons available and will they be in white?
thanks
Re: [FOR-SALE] Slim 4 Soft Back Button PCB, Caps and 3D Parts (OPEN)
They will be available in white as well as red, blue, green, yellow, and grey. They have been ordered so as soon as I receive them I will update the post. Hopefully in a week or two.

Really amazing!
I was wondering, is it possible to use this PCB with DMG buttons instead of the ones provided (A101 maybe?), I would prefer to use slightly larger ones and checking your pictures it seems that it should be enough space for them at the back.
