GBN 1&2 are now alive!

With #2 I desoldered the offending pads, confirmed that the pinout from the RPZ was good (it was) and reattached the switches.

I'm going to do a bit of troubleshooting on #3 with the power info you posted...thanks for that :) Ultimately if I can at least get the power functional I can determine if the RPZ is still alive.

Do you have a part number for the buttons?

How long does the first boot take. I have mine fully assembled, only getting a white screen? The little blue light in the back is flashing like crazy tho. Thanks!

Give it a solid 3-5 minutes to boot the first time, expand and reboot. Is the screen staying white? Mine only stays white for a moment then goes to black until the Gameboy Null logo pops up.

Question, in removing the Pi from the GB Null board, i accidentally ripped off the bottom right ground. Is this necessary, and is there an alternative solder point?
Thanks!

Here is the spot im referring to https://imgur.com/a/D7hayU6

The pad ripped right off the board, is the board still usable? Is there an alternate point I can use for that ground? Thanks!

Should be fine, there are other ground connections on the pi

Hi,

I just put together the game boy null, but when I turn it on with or with out sd card I’m just seeing a blank white screen. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

You might have an issue with the LCD wiring, check the ribbon cable if there is one or the wires.

Is there a guide and/or parts list on how to add sound to this awesome machine? :)
