what is the max input voltage ? can i use a 2S LiPo battery with the board ? voltage varies from 6V (depleted) to 8.4 (fully charged)
Thanks for your work :D
Kind of pointless if you're using something over 6v like you are, you need a regulator for 5v for your case. This is to boost lipos or really any battery that can supply 2.3v to 5v.

I use your SMD low battery with banggood powerboost.

Could it replace all that?

Yes,but uses the on screen indicator developed by HoolyHoo so no need for the LED indicator.

Amazing work, I'm more than likely going to order a couple of these for future projects. I've been waiting for something like this for a while.
How hot can these run by the way?

They run really cool unless you try to draw more than 3.5A in which case gets a little hot before it does a thermal shutdown but it's mainly the inductor getting hot the chip itself is small and doesn't produce much heat when running normally. If you're wondering what draws more than 3.5A it was the Odroid Xu4 with an HDMI LCD (extreme testing on that).

I guess you can still add a heatsink on the inductor to help a bit and sustain the needs for an odroid for a long time.

I wonder if you added a liquid cooler for the power supply it would work longer. The pump of course would be powered by the same power supply. Of course, that may overheat and need another pump... ;)

Looks amazing, but no money until the end of September I'm afraid - but put me down for one then if they're still about!
