[FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Isn't the black dot on the PCB a marker for correct orientation?
Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Chip TP4056 is also not properly located.

The black dot is first pin of chip.

Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
Right. The black dot should match where the dot/indent is on the chip. Correct?
Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
There are tiny black dots at each chip location at the top right corners of the rectangles. Maybe they are misprints, but they sure are strategically placed. I used those instead as orientation of them is not super clear.
Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console
I checked the boards now. You're right. There is a very small dot where it should not be. Probably this is an error when transferring gerber files.
Well, that's my fault. If the chips go bad, I am ready to send new free or give compensation.

Also check TP4056. It could fail.

How should I check it? How would I know it has failed?
