That is really expensive, even for a project like that.
But i like the idea of using the cartridges as changeable batteries.

Why is it so expensive? Parts is around 200, ebays going to take 100. That leaves 700 for me. Considering I've been working on this project since november of 2015, and all I have to show for it is 2 gameboys, thats a LOT of time spent researching and building everything. I charge 60 bucks for an hour of my time at work. So in reality, you're getting a bargain on my time.
Seriously. Selling it for anything under 500 bucks is an insult to the artistry it takes to make one of these, and make it well.
