[Gauging Interest] HoolyHoo 6 Button SAIO Bracket
[Gauging Interest] HoolyHoo 6 Button SAIO Bracket
As some may or may not know, Kite's latest SAIO board allows the use of a 6 button layout for the front of the GB shell. You can see here on Kites board the layout.
I've been working on a modification to my bracket to allow easy implementation of the 6 button layout. Here is a prototype that I have printed and seems to work well. It is not done as I wanted to add a few things to improve it.
Is this something that would be desired? Please give me any feedback you may have. If there is enough demand I will post it with the other brackets on my main bracket thread HERE.
Thanks in advance.

My only criticism is in the excess plastic around the wells as it'll not be the most aesthetically appealing option with a transparent case.
I'd love a bracket that only uses enough plastic to get the job done, especially in the not-screen, not-structural part of the bracket, though a little trimming of the plastic on the back of the screen & frame could also be beneficial (kinda like how you made room for buttons on your own GBZ up in the top corners.
I'm using the screen-only version of your board & 4 of wermy's 3D printed wells on a Kite Round 2 board in, as I'm already in-progress on my build in a transparent case. I've actually removed a bit of material by hand from my bracket to facilitate my own side-positioned switches, but it'd be nice to not have had it there in the first place.

Will we be able to print out our own? If the 6 buttons are there on the board, I'd be all for using them. Miss having them for the Genesis games. Especially Street Fighter.

I'd be interested as well! Even if it's just the .stl file.
