Maybe a stupid question but why not go all the way and make a AIO board with the safe shutdown, switch mount and the charge circuit?
Was looking into the powerboost 1000c and the datasheet is available for it; https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pow ... /downloads
It would save more space, or wouldn't it? Less soldering for sure.

Depend on the price, i'm welling for 2 or 3.
I have 3 order for GBZ right now that i allready start build it.

I just have some final testing to do on my prototype board, then I will open up pre-orders. Probably next week or the week after.

Just a quick update. The PCB is so very nearly complete. I was hoping to take orders for it this week, but found a small issue with the low battery detection. I'm playing it safe and have ordered another prototype. Hopefully it won't take too long to arrive.
