Electronics parts kit
Has anyone thought about putting together an electronics parts kit together and selling it as one package?
Re: Electronics parts kit
Parts can take as long as weeks to arrive. Many of the parts are custom made and purchase windows are largely unpredictable.
I don't think anyone, from the buyer's end or the supplier's end, wants to be waiting months to receive or sit on parts.

Considering the customization's and different parts that can be used, it would be difficult to put one together. There are custom boards that are still under development and they keep getting better and better. This is a very niche market and someone would be sitting on parts for a long time. Just my .02

Re: Electronics parts kit
Once I get mine done, I was thinking about gauging interest for my unused parts. I don't need 9 more POT wheels, headphone jacks, usb plugs, 98 tactile buttons, and whatever else I have.
A lot of the extras I have won't be necessary if you get Helders All in One. But figured some people won't go that route and don't want to pay $8 for a handful of parts when they just need one.

It's deff something someone could do, but keep in mind they're going to want to be compensated for their time and effort to assemble the kit. It'd be cheaper to source all the parts separately yourself.

Not true, unless you plan on building 20-100 Gameboy Zeros. Think I've spent over $40 just to get those things that cost just pennies.chaosratt wrote: It'd be cheaper to source all the parts separately yourself.

Re: Electronics parts kit
I have put together a kit for the parts needed to build Helders Low Battery Board. Not much, but it helps.
