Help with Audio Please

Post by BMO_16 » Wed Dec 28, 2016 7:35 pm

I'm on the last part of the Gameboy Zero Project, just need audio!

I need to output from Pin 18 and 13 to an amp then to the volume and headphone jack before connecting to the speaker. I think that how it works...

I need help identifying the pins on my volume wheel and 3.5 mm female connector. I been trying to research for information but nothing useful yet.

The Volume Wheel has 3 pins and 2 metal legs in the back.
The Headphone Jack has 4 pins in the back and 1 pin in the front for ground I believe.

Any help will be appreciated. :D

You will need a 5pin pot wheel if u plan on doing stereo. The wiki also has an excellent page for alternative headphone jacks (yours may already be listed there).

Whoops I should have mentioned it will be mono. The 18 pin is my Y button so I can use the 13 pin for Audio. Ahh the Wiki, I'll have a peak there... thanks!

Update: It seems like the 3 pin Volume Wheel is GND, Input and Output with the pins facing you and upwards. The audio is complete crap without the filter. I ordered parts for the low filter and it should take a week to arrive. I still need to figure the inputs and outputs on the headphone jack. :(

Sorry for the trouble but could you link this guide? I somewhat understand what components needs to connect to but a guide would be useful.
