Teensy LC - Mac Intall Problems

Hi Guys i have problems installing the Teensyduino Software on my Mac

While installing the Teensyduino Software I have to "Select Arduino Folder" I have no idea, where the requested file is.

To install the Arduino Software on a Mac you just have to move the Software Icon to the Application folder so you don't have to select an specific location for this program.

you have to install Arduino API, which should be a .pkg file

There's actually a caveat that @wermy doesn't cover in his guide relating to this.

It turns out that the latest version of teensyduino isn't compatible with the latest version of arduino (1.6.9) yet. You need arduino 1.6.8, which can be found here. Once you install that version of arduino (or drag and drop in your case), that installer page in teensyduino should automatically find what it's looking for.

Also make sure you hook up your teensy to your computer with a micro usb cable that supports data transfer and isn't just a charge cable or else your teensy won't be able to load the control codes.
