Plugging in HDMI shows no picture.

Sooo, when my GBZ was running a teensy and helders first audio board, with retropie, i was able to plug in HDMI to my GBZ and it would go straight to the TV... sweet. Then I'd unplug from the tv, and I could continue playing on my GBZ.

Now i'm using helders AIO, and this no longer works. If I edit the config file, I can force HDMI and it works, however then my GBZ screen does not show a picture. It will ONLY work via HDMI. When I switch the config file, only GBZ screen works, and HDMI gets no signal again.

question: How can I fix this so HDMI switches only when I plug the HDMI cable in, like it used to work for me.
