No audio from adafruit mono amplifier

Post by 1461748123 » Mon May 16, 2016 10:43 pm

Hello guys! I got another problem now: no sounds from the adafruit amplifier.

I drew a diagram to show how I wired things up, if needed I can post the prototype that I'm working on. Its quite messy though.

Here's the diagram:

I've confirmed that isn't because of the speaker, and neither the audio input. Also the power are functioning correctly as well.
I'm really confused now... :?

The Audio GnD goes to the Amp GnD. The A- is for alternative audio in the event you get different sounds on different channels.

This is probably silly, but you have tried the volume trimpot on the amplifier? :)

Thanks! Thats why!
But now I got audio with really low volume and poor quality. Also with buzzing sounds...
No problem when I'm using a 3.5mm jack and without the amp.. :(
