Dead Gameboy Zero!

Post by 89krisd » Tue Mar 14, 2017 2:36 pm

Hey folks.

I built my gameboy zero using this amazing website and forum.

Had my zero built since last October and was working fine. Still needed some software tweaks which i was going to do.

Try to turn on my zero and the screen doesnt come on now. Checked inside and cant find any broken cables. Tried desoldering the power and video cables of the screen and soldered them back on but still got the same issue. Everything else powers up as far as i am aware apart from the screen.

Does anybody have any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this??

Thanks in advance

Its the BW 3.5 inch ordered from amazon.co.uk can remember what version off the top of my head

Going to check my SD card tonight. Will just format it and set it back up again.

Cheers for the suggestions.

Hope i manage to sort it out because i dont fancy stripping it all out and starting again.

Cheers again
