Mine did not work at all with the RPi, only on Windows.
Yep, works fine. I've got it connected to the Pi just now with a WiFi dongle and keyboard receiver.

Maybe the good thing to do is to plug the data wires to the pi and the power wires to the powerboost.
The pi micro-usb port doesn't offer enough power to make all usb things work, I guess.

Could you post a picture of the USB Hub Board, please?
I've got two of those hubs and not one works in linux. Maybe i've got different boards and just the same casing.
