What do you mean by 'old Pi boards'? There's only one model of the raspberry pi zero.
Well technically there are two different Pi Zeroes, as the new ones that are coming into production have a 'new feature' (link: http://betanews.com/2016/04/14/raspberr ... ilability/).
Unfortunately, the people that have bought the Pi Zero (after production of the new boards has been started) have been receiving old stock of boards without this 'new' feature. This means that the distributors are hoarding old stock and releasing them for sale slowly.

So I prefer to wait and have the new one with "new feature" :D
(plus, as long as the tutorial isn't complete, don't need immediatly lol)

Hi ,I had the luck to be able to order a Pi Zero at the PiHut. this week arrived :D
...is written on the Pizero: Raspberry Pi Zero V1.2 2015 looks to me of old production series :lol:
