Hd display Raspberry pi 3, 7,000mah

I've ordered one since it's just 25$ shipping included (!)
At least I'll be able to confirm if it works with my case or mod it a bit.
Will be my 3rd screen, already have the 320*240 and 640*480 one...

Another note: if the touch part works through a screen surround (does anyone know?, I don't think so) it might actually be nice for adventure games (Monkey Island anyone? Return of the tentacle? )

I was looking into this yesterday and couldn't get any info on the screen. Do you have a link and is it really HDMI like he says in the video? if so there goes all our video problems.

Delivery seems too cheap so I'm waiting on the seller asking for more there, but the screen costs peanuts. Looks like true HDMI and also comes with that little adapter he used.

The fit is questionable as noted above, but with resolution adjustment it might work well. Worth a try at the price though because if it works it'll be fantastic (assuming it all fits )

Can you buy directly or do you need a 3rd party buyer for that site?

I bought exactly this screen... the PCB does not fit into the DMG shell without modifying it, it must be shorten by ~1mm. On one side of the PCB should be plenty of space to cut 1mm off...

But since we have to use HDMI audio if HDMI is used, we need to find a flexible tiny 3,5cm cable to grab sound from the jack which is attached to the screen... Couldn't find a nice cable so far... Another solution could be to desolder the jack and solder wires on it...

The screen itself is glued with some "thick elastic tape" and connected with two ribbon cables to the PCB: One for the digitizer and one for the lcd... at least the bigger lcd-ribbon-cable can be safely detached from the PCB...

Here the measurements:

screen width: 83mm
screen height: 55mm

PCB width: 86,3mm
PCB height: 56,2mm

height of screen+PCB+HDMI connector: 13,7mm

the PCB could be shorted by ~12mm, as far I can see this area has no traces or electrical components:

I bought directly, although using google translate on Chrome it still took quite a while to get there! Ebay looks a lot simpler. I'm also still waiting to see if I get rebuffed for extra shipping fees... if it turns out to be hassle I'll cancel and order through eBay (I wish I'd checked there first, didn't think).

Next I will cut off 10mm from the screen PCB and from the Pi2 so I can turn it by 90º in the case...

Yes it does! You just need a mini-HDMI <> HDMI cable... One additional advantage will be, that you won't need PWM sound...
