Any joy with either the pads, cleaning, or reprogramming? I'm having the same issue.
Just testing this now but looks like it may have been the membrane of the navigation button along with the raisers i put under the X and Y buttons.

I have swapped out the membrane for a different style one ( i have a few) and removed the raisers, looking good so far!

Will confirm once ive played a few more games :D

Gameplay is smooth and as expected.

Glad i didn't have to reprogram the board.

What pads are you using? The amazon replacements are noticeably more thick than the original ones. The original ones seem to work perfect and the aftermarket ones seem to cause problems. Which specific pad are you using that worked?
