Yes, I have it like that at the moment, but I wanted the leds on when the pi was on. In the middle of intense gaming I'd probably forget to check the battery status.

Hi,
my first power converter worked perfectly. The 2nd had issues and the third didn't work at all. Its a real shame they work really well when they work

Hey all,
I am testing all parts of my GBZ, everything works except the 3.7V Li-ion Battery Mini USB To USB A Power Supply Module.
In theory this should work by plugging a USB to micro USB from the 3.7V Li-ion Battery Mini USB To USB A Power Supply Module to the Pi zero right?
There is a red led on but the Zero does not work.

If you just connect to the pi without the battery connected to this module then you will not get power. The module only power on if you have battery connected.dongilles wrote:Hey all,

So if you do that would it get broken? I connected the Powerboost to the Pi via a regular USB cable without a battery in the beginning. The output read 2.4 v and the Pi didn't run. Then I got the battery and connected the battery. Now it doesn't work and the output is 0.84 v. Did I break it?vnman wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2017 5:08 amIf you just connect to the pi without the battery connected to this module then you will not get power.
