If anyone's feeling super cautious about battery safety, LiFePo4 ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_i ... te_battery ) are known to be one of the safest battery types. They're the battery type used in many electric cars for that reason. It's also common to see them used in power tools (for other reasons). Compare this...

The above isn't exactly a like-for-like comparison, and to be honest you'll probably be fine with the more common Lithium battery chemistries if you're using a decent charging solution, but hopefully someone found this useful.

I m wondering into options for overcharge protection available in india, would this work?
I'm planning to use a 4000mAh Lipo.
